Chard WI is always delighted to welcome new members. We are a friendly informal group. There are eleven monthly meetings held at Chard Baptist Church hall, Holyrood Street, on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
We usually have a guest speaker at the meeting or an activity. We go out for meals and trips to places such as the Plymouth Gin Factory, Powderham Castle, and the Bishop\’s Palace Gardens. We are a group of all ages and life experiences and share a good sense of humour. Our community is very important to us and we help wherever we can.
