Further Information
Nursery: At Avishayes Early Years Centre, we provide a wonderfully stimulating, supportive and happy learning environment for our children so every child will then be ready for a seamless transition to ‘big school’. They learn through play and engage in adult-led and child initiated activities. We are very proud that our Nursery class is led by a Early Years Specialised Qualified Teacher who is supported by her dedicated team who have a wealth of early years experience and knowledge. Our aim is to provide children with exciting, broad and balanced curriculum which allows for the development of language and learning across all of the 7 early years learning areas. The children in Rabbit class can always be found to be fully immersed within their play. Through our offer of continuous provision we are able to offer a wide range of experiences and challenges for all children in our care. The children are able to have hands on learning experiences of growing fruit and vegetables and cooking as well as many other exciting things. We like to make the use of our locality and can be found visiting the library as well as welly walks to our local reservoir. We truly care about children’s Early Years education and know that getting it right is crucial in providing the building blocks for their future.

School: The school strongly promotes the pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development through a wide range of stimulating activities. This underpins the very supportive relationships between adults and pupils and between pupils that enrich their enjoyment and increased efforts in learning.

All groups of pupils, including disabled pupils, those with special educational needs and the most able, relish their learning. This is because teachers and teaching assistants set work and question them effectively to extend their thinking and skills.
