Chard Carers\’ Support Group is for unpaid carers and offers the opportunity to meet monthly with other carers in a relaxed atmosphere, with support, advice and a listening ear; a forum for the exchange of information about specific issues and conditions; a gateway to national and local resources. You may be looking after someone at home or they may be in a care home – you are still a carer and may need emotional or practical advice and help. We have regular speakers and also enjoy trips and meals out, sometimes with the cared for.
